Happy Youth Day to the young and young-at-heart!
Every generation goes through its fair share of challenges as they grow up, discover who they are, take their place in the world, and make their mark. This was tough enough before the pandemic, but it’s even more complicated now!
Despite this, Singapore’s youth, bolstered by a strong idealism, continues to persevere, putting them in good stead to navigate a post-pandemic world. This generation has been exposed to far more ideas and ideals than the generations before, and their dreams and aspirations will carry Singapore forward.
For my fellow ‘boomers’ 😉, I hope you will help guide our young, listen to them and consider their ideas. Give them the tools they need to chase their dreams, to keep Singapore ready for any challenge! – LHL
